Food Service Rotation

For my retail marketing and wellness project, I did a Mindful Showcase event to promote farmers market we did inside the hospital retail cafeteria, Cafe 1300. This even is food demo collaboration event with RN, Anna and Chapmanā€™s Farmers Market.

I presented my nutrition education by using information table during the event. I worked with the kitchen staff to helping me prep for the food demo (gather equipment & washing ingredients), building relationship with RN and worked together in food demo.

For this project, we did a simple chickpea salad that is refreshing and simply delicious. Most customers are pleasantly surprise on how refreshing is the dish and I was able to increase the sales of green peppers.
